13 Tips To Help You Lose Weight In The New Year

Wading through weight loss information can seem to be a confusing task. There are so many ideas, plans, and programs. It can be easy to end up so overwhelmed that you lose sight of what you started out to do. In this article we will reveal some sound tips to get you going again.

1. Know Your Daily Caloric Requirement – When starting a weight loss plan, you need to determine how many calories you should be having a day. Online calculators abound that will let you input your height, weight, age, activity level and the amount you want to lose and will provide you the total calories you should eat each day. If you know the calories you should consume each day, it’s much easier to stay within the guidelines.

2. Cut The Sugar – If you want to lose weight, try cutting sugar from your diet. Sugar adds a lot of unneeded calories to your diet. Sugar will often give you an energy boost, but it doesn’t last nearly as long as healthy foods and can leave you feeling drained afterwards. If you cut out sugar, you’ll cut out a lot of junk food. The less junk food you eat, the less calories you’ll take in.

3. Don’t Tempt Yourself, Eat BEFORE Shopping – A tip that may help you lose weight is to eat right before you do your grocery shopping. A classic mistake people make is when they do all of their grocery shopping when they’re hungry. They get overzealous and end up getting more food than they normally would have.

4. Ramp Up Your Fiber Intake – For losing weight, nothing is better than eating high amounts of fiber. Fiber is found in whole grain foods, nuts and plenty of fruits and vegetables. Fiber takes longer for the body to break it down, so you feel full for much longer and won’t start craving snacks and unhealthy foods.

5. Eat Smaller Meals As The Day Progresses – One weight loss tip that sometimes goes unnoticed, is to eat more at the beginning of the day and less at night. Think about it, you need energy to complete your tasks for the day, so it makes sense to eat a moderately large breakfast, a regular lunch and a modest dinner. Plus, it’s a good excuse to make eggs and bacon for breakfast (turkey bacon of course!).

6. Fill Up With Water – Before sitting down to a meal, have a glass or two of water. This creates a feeling of being a little full, and you won’t eat as much. Water is a good way to make sure you don’t gorge yourself, and it’s also a good way to clean your system.

7. Slow Down When Eating And Enjoy – A great weight loss tip is to make sure you are not eating too fast. When you are eating, your brain requires some time to let you know you are full. You need to be able to have a conversation while eating. If you are eating so fast that you can not hold a conversation, then you are eating too fast. Otherwise, you are good.

8. Forget The Word “Diet” And Focus On A Sustainable Lifestyle Change – If you are trying to achieve and maintain a healthy weight for life, stop dieting. Yoyo dieting leads to an overall weight gain over time and it is detrimental to your health. Instead, opt for making slow and steady permanent lifestyle changes that you can stick to for the rest of your life.

9. Cut Out Milk Or Switch To Almond Milk- Although milk really does do a body good, the fat in whole milk will wreak havoc on your waistline. So if you’re eating those fiber cereals for breakfast or enjoying a glass of milk in place of that sweet tea or glass of wine, remember to go for low-fat or non-fat milk. The taste difference is negligible, but there’s a big difference in the bottom line. Another option is to use unsweetened almond milk, it last substantially longer than regular milk, has no saturated fats and has a creamier texture than traditional non-fat milk.

10. Don’t Go It Alone – If you’re married, a dual diet might just be your ticket to losing weight. Trying a diet together is a great way to stay motivated. The two of you may start a little competition with one another and at the very least, you will have your partner there, to always remind you that you’re supposed to be on a diet. Even if you’re not married try to get a friend or family member involved.

11. Weight Isn’t Beat With Diet Alone, Get Moving Too – A type of good workout that is good for people trying to lose weight is yoga. It can be a very relaxing workout which is great for the mind, though you will also be earning an average of 350 calories for an hours workout. They have many classes you can join, or just find a good workout video and do it alone. If you find yoga is still pushing the limits of what you can do with physical activity just try walking. Walking at a medium pace of 1.5 mph – 2 mph for 1 hour can burn about 200 calories.

12. Plan Or Prep Your Meals In Advance – Planning plays a huge role in weight loss. You should always know what you are going to eat for the day, week or month. Making last minute decisions aren’t always the best choice. Have healthy foods packaged in serving sized portions, so that you can easily follow your plan.

13. Consult With A Doctor – Before beginning any diet, weight loss or exercise plan it’s a good idea to speak with your doctor. They can provide you with additional options and can help ensure that you are losing weight without putting yourself in danger.

With these simple tips you will be able to meet your weight loss goals. Take it slow and don’t fill your head with too many ideas at once. Take one, when you get that right, go for the next one. You may not feel motivated right away, but if you keep at it, you will be healthier in no time

If You Thought You Missed The Internet Profit Revolution Try CryptoCurrency

When most people think of cryptocurrency they might as well be thinking of cryptic currency. Very few people seem to know what it is and for some reason everyone seems to be talking about it as if they do. This report will hopefully demystify all the aspects of cryptocurrency so that by the time you’re finished reading you will have a pretty good idea of what it is and what it’s all about.

You may find that cryptocurrency is for you or you may not but at least you’ll be able to speak with a degree of certainty and knowledge that others won’t possess.

There are many people who have already reached millionaire status by dealing in cryptocurrency. Clearly there’s a lot of money in this brand new industry.

Cryptocurrency is electronic currency, short and simple. However, what’s not so short and simple is exactly how it comes to have value.

Cryptocurrency is a digitized, virtual, decentralized currency produced by the application of cryptography, which, according to Merriam Webster dictionary, is the “computerized encoding and decoding of information”. Cryptography is the foundation that makes debit cards, computer banking and eCommerce systems possible.

Cryptocurrency isn’t backed by banks; it’s not backed by a government, but by an extremely complicated arrangement of algorithms. Cryptocurrency is electricity which is encoded into complex strings of algorithms. What lends monetary value is their intricacy and their security from hackers. The way that crypto currency is made is simply too difficult to reproduce.

Cryptocurrency is in direct opposition to what is called fiat money. Fiat money is currency that gets its worth from government ruling or law. The dollar, the yen, and the Euro are all examples. Any currency that is defined as legal tender is fiat money.

Unlike fiat money, another part of what makes crypto currency valuable is that, like a commodity such as silver and gold, there’s only a finite amount of it. Only 21,000,000 of these extremely complex algorithms were produced. No more, no less. It can’t be altered by printing more of it, like a government printing more money to pump up the system without backing. Or by a bank altering a digital ledger, something the Federal Reserve will instruct banks to do to adjust for inflation.

Cryptocurrency is a means to purchase, sell, and invest that completely avoids both government oversight and banking systems tracking the movement of your money. In a world economy that is destabilized, this system can become a stable force.

Cryptocurrency also gives you a great deal of anonymity. Unfortunately this can lead to misuse by a criminal element using crypto currency to their own ends just as regular money can be misused. However, it can also keep the government from tracking your every purchase and invading your personal privacy.

Cryptocurrency comes in quite a few forms. Bitcoin was the first and is the standard from which all other cryptocurrencies pattern themselves. All are produced by meticulous alpha-numerical computations from a complex coding tool. Some other cryptocurrencies are Litecoin, Namecoin, Peercoin, Dogecoin, and Worldcoin, to name a few. These are called altcoins as a generalized name. The prices of each are regulated by the supply of the specific cryptocurrency and the demand that the market has for that currency.

The way cryptocurrency is brought into existence is quite fascinating. Unlike gold, which has to be mined from the ground, cryptocurrency is merely an entry in a virtual ledger which is stored in various computers around the world. These entries have to be ‘mined’ using mathematical algorithms. Individual users or, more likely, a group of users run computational analysis to find particular series of data, called blocks. The ‘miners’ find data that produces an exact pattern to the cryptographic algorithm. At that point, it’s applied to the series, and they’ve found a block. After an equivalent data series on the block matches up with the algorithm, the block of data has been unencrypted. The miner gets a reward of a specific amount of cryptocurrency. As time goes on, the amount of the reward decreases as the cryptocurrency becomes scarcer. Adding to that, the complexity of the algorithms in the search for new blocks is also increased. Computationally, it becomes harder to find a matching series. Both of these scenarios come together to decrease the speed in which cryptocurrency is created. This imitates the difficulty and scarcity of mining a commodity like gold.

Now, anyone can be a miner. The originators of Bitcoin made the mining tool open source, so it’s free to anyone. However, the computers they use run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The algorithms are extremely complex and the CPU is running full tilt. Many users have specialized computers made specifically for mining cryptocurrency. Both the user and the specialized computer are called miners.

Miners (the human ones) also keep ledgers of transactions and act as auditors, so that a coin isn’t duplicated in any way. This keeps the system from being hacked and from running amok. They’re paid for this work by receiving new cryptocurrency every week that they maintain their operation. They keep their cryptocurrency in specialized files on their computers or other personal devices. These files are called wallets.

Let’s recap by going through a few of the definitions we’ve learned:

• Cryptocurrency: electronic currency; also called digital currency.
• Fiat money: any legal tender; government backed, used in banking system.
• Bitcoin: the original and gold standard of crypto currency.
• Altcoin: other cryptocurrencies that are patterned from the same processes as Bitcoin, but with slight variations in their coding.
• Miners: an individual or group of individuals who use their own resources (computers, electricity, space) to mine digital coins.
o Also a specialized computer made specifically for finding new coins through computing series of algorithms.
• Wallet: a small file on your computer where you store your digital money.

Conceptualizing the cryptocurrency system in a nutshell:

• Electronic money.
• Mined by individuals who use their own resources to find the coins.
• A stable, finite system of currency. For example, there are only 21,000,000 Bitcoins produced for all time.
• Does not require any government or bank to make it work.
• Pricing is decided by the amount of the coins found and used which is combined with the demand from the public to possess them.
• There are several forms of crypto currency, with Bitcoin being first and foremost.
• Can bring great wealth, but, like any investment, has risks.

Most people find the concept of cryptocurrency to be fascinating. It’s a new field that could be the next gold mine for many of them. If you find that cryptocurrency is something you’d like to learn more about then you’ve found the right report. However, I’ve barely touched the surface in this report. There is much, much more to cryptocurrency than what I’ve gone through here.

How to Build Solid Relationships

The whole world is about people and how you bond to them. They will never remember what and how you achieved great things but they will always remember how you made them feel. So be sure to make them feel good most of the time and they will capture your heart. Starting near about you, how do you behave with the people encircling you? Let’s dive into this discussion. Read on to find out.

Starting with your own family, how do you react towards them? Are you pissed off or lighthearted? If you are ill-tempered, you have something to work on. You need to cool down and then start talking to your family members. You need to behave well, especially for your children because they are picking up cues from you all the time. You don’t want them to grow up to ill-tempered and non-sensible adults.

After getting out of your home, you will meet the doorman and probably the gardener. Say hello to them cheerfully and smile. Immediately you bond a relationship with them – that also a meaningful and promising one.

When you go to the supermarket, you will probably meet some known or unknown faces. Smile and talk cheerfully, draw up on your credit card and pull the cart away to avoid chaos. If you meet friends there, be sure to strike a lovely, short conversation and be back home or some other place on your agenda.

Wherever you meet people, make eye contact and smile. They will smile back and you will bond together positively.

As for me, I frequently visit confectionery, stationery and pharmacy shops near my home. All the people in there have come to know me. I am always cheerful and have bonded positively with them. So they take care to hand over their best products and never cheat on me. So bonding with the people you see every day has an upside.

I recently visited my aunt who lives a long distance away from our home. Last time I visited her, we struck a lively and jolly conversation. At the end she handed me a big deep blue decorative bag as a gift which I still use today for grocery shopping. Presently when I visited her, I gave her a bangles set bought from U.S and she loved them. All her three daughters are staying abroad and so when I visit her, I fill up some space in her heart and she treats me like her daughter.

There are examples of people like this everywhere in our lives. We just need to know how to connect to them positively. You never know who you will come to need in a time of crisis or danger. So remember to smile at people and bond gracefully and above all, make them feel good in a way they will love and remember you

5 Ways to Recommit When Your Marriage Is Falling Apart

PROMISES that are best, those that are also hardest to keep, are the proving ground of learning. Where daily determination meets with God’s grace, humility is nurtured, and wisdom is attained.

Besides when it is unsafe[1] to remain in a marriage, for yourself and/or others, it is always a good thing to keep working on marriage – where there is a collective will and a positive vision for a satisfying marriage in both partners. Both partners will not always feel like trying nor will they always feel positive about the future, but it’s what they feel when they believe the best is possible that counts.

Here are five promises we can make in recommitting to our marriages:

1. Promise to have the faith to stick at a process for however long it takes. Our long-term happiness is not connected with our short-term happiness. These two are very different things.

2. Promise not to run away, especially as that means obeying the voice of the Lord as you find yourself, mentally or emotionally, sprinting off. Take some minutes of solace, but do not leave.

3. Promise to enter gently and graciously, i.e. with courage, into the cauldron, to love when love seems hard, even impossible, to do. Love starts from us as individuals choosing to love through kindness, patience, and compassion, etc.

4. Promise to remind yourself that your partner lacks many degrees of perfection, as do you. Remind yourself that the things that bug you about him or her are possibility simple reflections of unconscious things about you that bug you. And remind yourself there are things about you that bug them – they’re staying with you as much as you’re staying with them.

5. Promise yourself the reflection of this truth: a happy life is not simply about feeling happy; it’s more a life that is steeped in meaning. That’s because life is long. Purpose is established over years and decades. Where we give up on our marriages, we agree to overhaul the substance of our identity.

[1] For me, safety connects to imminent risk of harm to trauma that may lead to injury, post-traumatic stress, etc. In all relationships, however, there is the function of conflict which produces hurt, which in turn provides opportunities for the relationship to grow in trust, as individuals grow, and as they choose to overlook offenses and forgive. The process can take years. Hurts are not unsafe in and of themselves, and it is amazing what we as individuals can endure. Overcoming feeling hurt is actually a key life skill in developing resilience. When it comes to being unsafe, though, we are advised to trust close friends, parents and siblings. If the majority are saying the same thing deem it as trustworthy and wise. Accept and trust the help you’re given.

10. Security & Protection

With the rapid evolution of mobile app industry, 3rd party SDKs gains dominance and apps gather more and more information which surges the risks, vulnerabilities and security breaches. This hesitancy certainly calls for security & protection solutions as a great necessit

Dealing With Frustration And Anger

Life is full of frustrations. It stems from minor irritations to major problems. Being able to manage frustration is must in order for us to remain happy and positive even in the midst of challenging circumstances. It occurs when a person is blocked from reaching the desired outcome. We feel irritable and angry when we do not reach our desired goals. The more important the goal is, the greater the frustration and anger or loss of confidence we feel.

We experienced this every time our expectations aren’t met. It occurs whenever our actions are producing less and fewer results than we think they should. It usually involves the disappointment that we get when we cannot have what we want as a result of lack of confidence or fear of social situations.

The physical roadblocks we encounter in life including other people and things that get in the way of our goals cause also our frustrations for just a waste of time. We cannot avoid things that are out of control. We can do something about it, but sometimes there is just nothing we can do about it.

Although the situation is upsetting and frustrating, we do not have to be frustrated. Acceptance is the key to avoid frustration. We can also use our frustrations as a useful motivator to change. However, when it results in anger, irritability, stress, resentment, depression, it can be destructive.

It is always a challenge to keep your anger and frustrations in check. Anger is a normal emotion that needs to be dealt with it in a positive way. Uncontrolled anger can have an adverse effect on your health and your relationships. It can also lead to frustration. Always stay in control because you might regret what you say on impulse because your rational thinking is clouded by that moment.

Once your mind is already clear, express your frustration in an assertive but professional way. State your concerns and needs clearly without offending others or trying to control them. Work on resolving the issues at hand rather than focusing on the details that make you mad. Bear in mind that anger won’t fix anything and might only make it worse.

Even if you had bad experiences in your life but it doesn’t mean that it would always be like that. Don’t lash out your frustration on other people. When it gets out of hand, it can be destructive and can lead to more problems at work, in relationships and in the overall quality of your life.

Anger can be a healthy response if it motivates us to do a positive act but all too often the actions we engage in when angry are destructive because frustration can lead us to act without thinking.

A Busy Lifestyle Can Leave Your Face Looking Older, Tired and Dull

It seems that people’s lives are becoming more hectic, with early mornings, late nights, busy social lives and modern technology taking over our lives. When many of us feel pressurised to fit everything into the day, it will eventually all take it toll and will have the potential to prematurely age your skin.

Stressful schedules

A busy social life, and trying to go to every social invitation we’re invited to, can increase our stress levels and leave us missing out on our eight hours sleep. Tiredness and stress can cause wrinkles and dull skin, and it can lower your immune system, which can result in acne breakouts.

Binge-watching

It seems that these days, there are many great films and television shows that we feel we just have to watch. In these days of box sets, no-one wants to wait until next weeks episode, and we tend to binge-watch them in one sitting. Unfortunately, this can cause tiredness, dehydrated and dull looking skin, dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles under the eyes.

Late nights

Failing to get a good nights sleep can cause havoc with our skin. Whether it’s because of partying with your friends, working or watching movies late into the night, we are quite literally losing our beauty sleep. One of the many side-effects of drinking excess alcohol, is its capacity to dry out the skin. The later we fall into our beds, the more likely we won’t bother to remove our make-up and this can end up clogging our pores and causing spots. Lack of sleep will dehydrate the skin making it seem dull, and cause puffiness and dark shadows under the eyes.

Technology

It’s scary to think that our mobile phones and electronic gadgets might be ruining our looks. Our obsession with our phones and computers is really taking its toll on our neck and jaw line. The skin on the neck is thin and fragile, and because it’s a highly visible part of the body, this area can really show how fast we are ageing. When you’re constantly staring down at your phone; at social media, videos and games, it causes sagging jowls and wrinkles on the neck, which accelerates the signs of ageing.

Out and about

When we are outside we come into contact with car fumes, smog and dust, and over time they all have a harmful effect on our skin. These are all impossible things for us to avoid, and can cause dehydration, wrinkles and redness. It’s now believed that pollution is just as damaging to our skin as UV exposure. It’s important to cleanse, tone and moisturize the skin, to rid it of daily dirt and grime.

Cosmetic clinics have many treatments to help with the latest safe and effective cosmetic medical treatments to combat fine lines and wrinkle reduction, dull, dehydrated skin, dark shadows and tear troughs. Experienced and fully trained aesthetic teams will talk you through a range of treatments, either single treatments or combining different treatments.

How to Get a Girl to Text You Back

How many times have you or any other guy you know not have been in this scenario: You are at a friend’s party and meet this gorgeous girl. You talk and dance and enjoy yourselves Before you go your separate ways you exchange phone numbers.

The day after when you wake up, you remember this girl and you want to text her and ask her out on a date. There is only one major problem: As soon as you begin texting her, you can not think about what to write to her or how to write.

Your mind is completely blank and you don’t know what to do, so you start looking on the Internet for texting advice.

Everything you read is not what you really are looking for, it’s either too explicit or too vague and you don’t want to send her any of those suggestions, so what will you do?

Luckily for you, there is a helping hand to grab and hold onto. You find one website that stands out from the rest. You send her one of those texts and after some texting, you agree to go out on a date the following day.

Mission accomplished! Not really because you actually need to text her again the same day that you are going on that date and text her some funny things to make her laugh. She does not respond. What can you do about it?

How to Get a Girl to Text You Back

The whole idea when you send her a text should be to get some kind of response. Girls are different from guys because they are using texting as their main source of communication with their friends and family.

They are texting all the time, so it comes naturally for them to text with you too. You are probably just a friend, at least that is where you are right now but you need to move from text buddy to boyfriend. It is not easy unless you read my text flirting tips below.

There are 3 basic rules to get a girl to text you back:

1. Ask questions. Do not be afraid of asking her questions. Before you begin asking her questions though, you should introduce yourself first. If you want to start your texting slow a nice How are you? will work just fine.

2. Entertain her. Girls get tired a lot earlier than guys, so if you want to ask her out on a date, one of the key elements that will grant you success is that you will stand out from the rest of the competition, which in this case means other guys because if you can make her laugh, that will make her comfortable and she will be more inclined to accept your request. Crack a joke to make her laugh. If you can not think of one when you text her, find one on the Internet.

3. Make her interested in you. Tell her something that happened at the night where you met each other for the first time. If it’s a mutual experience, it’s even better!

There are things you should avoid though when you text her. Don’t be texting her and call her sweetie, honey or some other pet name too early. You will come across as needy and she will run the other way.

Using explicit language is not okay either. Some guys think it is a way of showing her that they are not interested to just be friends. This will make her run the other way too unless you have been intimate already.

Another tip: No pictures of your private parts either or you can end up on a different kind of “date”, the one that includes a lawyer and a judge.

Ambiguous language is fine after a while. I recommend that you wait for a while, at least until you have made it clear that you are not interested in her as a friend and also so you do not seem to eager or a complete jerk.

Mixing some more serious questions and adding some humor too works wonders. You should strive for being perceived as trustworthy and serious yet with a great sense of humor in order to get her out on a date.

Another thing as you might have noticed when you read through this article: I do not use any abbreviations at all and I am very keen on using proper English grammar. The same applies to texting. Do make use of your knowledge of English grammar and avoid contractions too.

Patience is key but if you don’t take action, she will get tired of you and you will become reduced to her “text buddy”. Acting to “cool” can also be devastating.

I have saved the best advice to the end and it consists of two words only: Be yourself. You have to be genuine and you have to find your texting style and do not be afraid of revealing a bit about yourself in the texting conversations.
